An Adventure to Patagonia, Chile, and Argentina
January 25th - February 13th, 2023
We are going to the end of the world! To Ushuaia, the gateway to Antarctica, down to Cape Horn where the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans meet. This is all part of that mysterious land mass called Patagonia on the border between Chile and Argentina.
Our boat will take us to the glaciers and fjords of this surreal mountainous area, to El Calafate’s ice fields and to the massive Perito Moreno Glacier, the Fitz Roy glacier, to Tierra del Fuego, to the Straits of Magellan, and much more. While most of our time will be in Patagonia, we will also spend days in Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina, visiting the wine country, enjoying the tango performances, savoring the cuisine, and experiencing the culture.
I invite you to come on this exciting and unique adventure.

Balkan Adventure to Croatia, Montenegro, and Albania
May 20th - June 3rd, 2023
So many who have traveled with me in the past have been encouraging me to visit Croatia and some of the Balkan countries. In front of you, finally, is our journey to the spectacular country of Croatia, a jewel on the Mediterranean, filled with so much history and sheer beauty.
In addition we will visit Montenegro and Albania, also filled with historical significance. Unfortunately, we will not be visiting the shrine of the Blessed Mother at Medjugorje on this trip. But even so, our senses will be filled with the culture, cuisine, and natural wonders of these countries of the western Balkans. I can only take 30 people.
I encourage you to register soon.

Holy Land Pilgrimage
September 2nd - 13th, 2023
Once again we are going up Jerusalem, called by the psalmist the City of God! It is a city rich in history, richer still in God’s marvelous deeds. It is a city where Jesus of Nazareth proclaimed the saving message of God’s kingdom and exercised his healing ministry of God’s love. It is there that he died for love of us, only to be raised up in that same city by God in a mighty act of power. Jerusalem, now more than ever, is truly the City of God, for it was within her walls that the Church of Jesus Christ came to birth in the dramatic outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.
I will be making my usual pilgrimage to the Holy Land, appropriately called the Fifth Gospel, to retrace the steps Jesus took in obedience to God’s will and out of love for us all. It is a moment of grace for all of us to visit the scenes of our salvation. I invite you to come along with me to share this deeply moving experience of faith. This pilgrimage will truly enrich your faith, deepen your knowledge of Holy Scripture, and increase your love for Jesus the Lord.
You are going on a pilgrimage, a special form of spiritual retreat, a religious event in one’s life where the Gospel, read at the sites of its first utterance, takes on a new significant meaning for one who is open to the Holy Spirit. It is not a sightseeing trip or a vacation tour, but it is a journey that has faith as its motive and goal, reflecting the pilgrimage of one’s life toward God.
We will also visit Petra, the famous Rose Colored City celebrated for its unique carvings in the rock, as well as Mt. Nebo where Moses viewed the Promised Land plus the Site of the Baptism of Jesus and Jerash, the great Greco-Roman city, and the well-known Madaba Map.
I am an experienced Holy Land pilgrim guide. I have lived in the Holy Land and I have conducted pilgrimages continuously each year since 1976. I have a doctorate in New Testament and have taught at three graduate theological schools. For these reasons, you can be assured of a deeply biblical and prayerful first-class experience.

Turkey and Egypt
September 27th - October 14th, 2023
We will be traveling to ancient Turkey to follow the footsteps of St. Paul and visiting the 7 churches of the Book of Revelation and then on to fabled Egypt to commemorate the flight of the Holy Family to that country and explore this country's historic landmarks. It is a rare journey back into time to visit St. Paul's birthplace in Tarsus, to Antioch of Syria where the followers of Jesus were first called Chrisitans, to Ephesus and Pisidian Antioch where Paul preached the Gospel, to Pergamon, Sardis and Hierapolis mentioned in the Book of Revelation, to surreal Cappadocia with its cave churches from the time of St. Basil, to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque and a cruise on the Bosphorus in Istanbul, then onto to Cairo to see the Sphinx and the Pyramids, the immense temple of Luxor, the gigantic statues at Abu Simbel, and the Valley of the Kings, ending with a visit to the church commemorating the stay of the Holy Family in Egypt.
The visit to these two countries is a unique arrangement not often joined together in one tour. This pilgrimage is a memorable sequel to one's previous journey to the Holy Land of Israel. You will marvel at what you see in Turkey under the expert guidance of Ender Tan and be amazed at the high culture developed by the long line of Pharaohs in Egypt. You will stand in awe at what you will experience.
